Extension Modules: Matching

The extension module Matching let you accurately reference and align different 3D datasets (of one object) to each other.

Functionality

• Support for referencing objects in \apptitle, particularly gradually referencing two or more datasets with additional preview options and advanced options
• Interactive, global¹ raw registration controlled by set reference points
• Automatic, global¹ fine registration with an optimized Iterative Closest Point algorithm (ICP)
• Take care of point- or triangle selections
• Create reference points from center point of an approximated sphere
