Extension Modules: Analyze Distances

Using the extension module Analyze Distances you can visualize and analyze local distances between point clouds or triangle meshes and reference objects.

Functionality

• Calculate distances of point clouds, triangle meshes and parametric objects
• Distances can be visualized by configurable color gradients
• Graphically analyze measurement and manufacturing tolerances on the object (TARGET-ACTUAL comparison)
• Analysis at the specified distance interval
• Display and save results of distance analysis as protocol in PDF format
• Histogram and statistics of the calculated distances
• Interactive distance analysis: display of detailed point distances at the current mouse position
