Extension Modules: Mesh Smoothing

The extension module Mesh Smoothing offers support to smooth surfaces of triangle objects and therefore to eliminate undesirable surface roughness (e.g. caused by the scanning process).

Functionality

• Smooth a complete triangle mesh object or a selected part of the object surface
• Simple and complex smoothing modes
• Consideration of edges and boundary points of the triangle object
• Compensate for extreme peaks and outliers in the original surface
• Compensation of triangle edge lenght possible
